The IRDR Young Scientists Programme, Integrated Research on Disaster Risk (IRDR), is open to all young scientists from all around the world to pursue research in China for the academic session of 2024. The programme is available to pursue research in the field of disaster risk reduction.
Bursun amacı, genç bilim adamları arasında Sendai Çerçeve uygulaması hakkında farkındalığı artırmak ve DRR üzerine Genç Bilim İnsanları Programı aracılığıyla daha fazla katılım için fırsatlar sağlamaktır.
Afet Riski Üzerine Entegre Araştırma (IRDR), Uluslararası Bilim Konseyi (ICSU), Uluslararası Sosyal Bilimler Konseyi (ISSC) ve Birleşmiş Milletler Uluslararası Afet Azaltma Stratejisi (UNISDR) tarafından ortaklaşa desteklenen on yıllık bir araştırma programıdır.

Scholarship Benefits: The scholarship will cover the following:
- IRDR profesyoneller ve uygulayıcılar ağına bağlantı
- Access to IRDR Scientific Committee (SC) for academic support and advice
- Participation in IRDR-related training programs (there would be a different selection process for each of the training program)

Eligibility: Applicants must meet the following criteria for the scholarship:
- Yaş: Başvuru tarihinde 40 yaşından küçük
- Uyruk: Uyrukta sınır yoktur
- Affiliation: The candidate needs to be affiliated with an academic program (either master or doctorate) either as a student or as a young faculty member.
- Research subject: The subject of research needs to be related to disaster risk reduction and its link to broader environmental and development issues.
- Endorsement: must be endorsed by the academic supervisor (for the student) or head of the department or graduate school (for the young faculties).
- Duration: minimum 1 year, and maximum 3 years. The applicant can make their choice, and the final decision will be made by IRDR.
