The Ecole Normale Supérieure in Rennes is a public scientific, cultural, and professional institution whose mission is to train the senior scientific staff of the public service. • Course Level: A scholarship is available to pursue PhD programs.
• Studienfach: Call for proposals for thesis subjects—all fields in correlation with departments teaching and research at the Ecole Normale Supérieure in Rennes.
• Stipendienpreis: The scholarship is awarded for a time period of up to 4 years, maximum, in the amount of 1200 euros per month. Jointly supervised PhD projects are given priority. In this case, the scholarship is awarded only for the time spent in France.

• Anzahl der Stipendien: The Écoles Normales Supérieures (ENS) Group has signed a cooperation agreement with the China Scholarship Council (CSC), providing funding for 30 PhD students for the whole ENS group (Paris, Paris-Saclay, Lyon, Rennes), on the basis of a selection by the ENS and by the CSC.

Zugangsvoraussetzungen: Bewerber müssen folgende Kriterien erfüllen:

• The scholarship is awarded for a time period of up to 4 years, for a maximum of 1200 euros per month. Jointly supervised PhD projects are given priority. In this case, the scholarship is awarded only for the time spent in France.
• Die Bewerber müssen die chinesische Staatsangehörigkeit besitzen und zum Zeitpunkt der Bewerbung in China leben.
• Erfolgreiche Kandidaten verpflichten sich, nach Abschluss der Promotion nach der Disputation oder nach einem Postdoc-Aufenthalt im Ausland (mit Genehmigung des CSC) nach China zurückzukehren.
